Delivering certified quality across eleven companies

Quality is important to us. There is hardly any better testament to this than our quality-management system, which has been in place since 1996. This system is regularly inspected by the independent certification company CERTQUA, in line with the standards of the international norm DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.

Eleven of our companies have received certification so far. This joint certification allows us to effectively meet public demand for transparency and clear quality standards in vocational education. All management and staff are obliged to uphold the bbw Group’s quality standards and are encouraged to develop these further in collaboration with their clients. We therefore take a process-oriented approach that puts clients’ concerns first, thus enabling us to continuously optimise our quality-management system.

As a provider of services that support labour market policies, we adhere to the rules set down by the German ordinance that regulates accreditation and approval within the employment promotion programme (Akkreditierungs- und Zulassungsverordnung Arbeitsförderung, or AZAV).

Educational providers that have been approved in accordance with AZAV are the Berufliche Fortbildungszentren der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bfz) gGmbH, the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw) gGmbH, and the Fortbildungsakademie der Wirtschaft (FAW) gGmbH.

These companies offer educational services that promote continuing vocational education and programmes to people with a low level of recognised training and to older active employees.
